1. Who we are
gtmforhire.com is a job board and talent directory for go-to-market professionals. This policy covers browsing the site, creating an account or talent profile, posting a job, applying through the site, and purchasing job upgrades.
The operator below is responsible for personal information used to run gtmforhire. Employers separately control how they use candidate information for their own recruitment.

2. Information we collect
Most information comes from you when you use a feature. Service providers also generate the technical and payment records needed to deliver it.
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, verification status, sign-in sessions, and authentication records.
- Talent profiles: your name, headline, biography, location, availability, tools, skills, portfolio link, and visibility choice.
- Applications: the job you apply for, your verified email, a copy of your profile when you apply, your note, and the submission date.
- Company and job information: company name, website, description and logo; role details, hiring regions, salary, application instructions and destination; listing dates and selected upgrades.
- Payment records: selected upgrades, currency, amounts, payment and refund status, Stripe references, and invoice records. Stripe collects payment details, billing address, and any tax information provided during checkout. Our application does not collect or store full card numbers or card security codes.
- Technical and communications information: requests, IP addresses and browser information available to hosting and security providers, security identifiers derived from email or IP address, email delivery records, and information you include in support messages.
Please do not include sensitive personal information, identity documents, confidential client data, or information about other people that you are not entitled to share.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, publish the profiles and listings you choose to share, deliver applications, process upgrades, send service emails, provide support, and protect the service from abuse.
Where the GDPR or similar rules require a legal basis, the purposes and bases are:
- Providing the requested service: account access, saving profiles, job publication, applications, and purchased upgrades are processed to perform our agreement with you or take steps you request before entering it. Where you act for a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in providing that business with the service.
- Optional public talent visibility: we rely on your consent when you choose to make your profile public. You can withdraw that consent by saving the profile with public visibility turned off; this does not affect processing before withdrawal.
- Security and service support: we rely on legitimate interests in preventing fraud, troubleshooting, supporting users, and protecting the service, subject to your rights.
- Legal obligations: payment, tax, accounting, and valid legal-request records may need to be processed to comply with applicable law.
Account and transaction emails are service messages. Requesting a sign-in link does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter. We do not sell personal information or use the site to serve targeted advertising. We do not make automated hiring decisions; employers make their own recruitment decisions.
You can browse without an account. If you do not provide information required for a particular feature, we cannot provide that feature.
4. Your public profile and applications
You can apply with a private profile. An application shares a copy with that employer without changing your directory visibility.
Talent profiles are private by default. If you choose public visibility, anyone can see your published details, including visitors who are not signed in. Public profiles can appear in search engines and social previews. Your account email is not included in the public profile unless you add it to your profile content yourself.
When you apply through gtmforhire, we ask you to confirm sharing your profile copy, verified email, and note with the hiring company. Editing or hiding your profile later does not update or remove an application already sent. Employers may retain their own copies and must handle them under their own privacy obligations. You can ask us about information stored on our service and contact the employer about copies it holds separately.
If a listing sends you to an external website or email address, that application is handled outside gtmforhire under the recipient’s terms and privacy practices.
Published company and job information is public and may be distributed through search results, the RSS feed, and social cards. Removing something from our public site does not instantly remove copies already held by search engines, feed readers, or social platforms.
5. Who receives information
We share information needed to operate the service with these providers:
- Supabase provides authentication and database hosting for accounts, profiles, jobs, applications, and service records.
- Vercel hosts the website and server functions and processes traffic and operational information.
- Resend delivers sign-in links and transactional emails using the recipient address and message content.
- Stripe processes checkout, payments, invoices, applicable tax information, refunds, and fraud checks. Stripe also processes certain information for its own legal and security purposes.
Employers receive the applications you send them. Public visitors receive information you choose to publish. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a lawful business transfer with appropriate protections and notice where required.
Third-party websites, portfolio links, employer application tools, and external images have their own privacy practices. Loading an externally hosted image may disclose technical information such as your IP address to its host. Generating a social image containing characters outside our bundled fonts may request a fallback font for that public text from Google Fonts.
6. Cookies and browser storage
We use Supabase authentication cookies to keep you signed in and support secure account access. Signing out clears the session cookies managed by the application. Blocking them can prevent account features from working.
Job and talent-profile forms save drafts in your browser’s local storage so you can continue after signing in or refreshing. Drafts can include the details you typed, selected tools, and posting preferences. They remain on that browser until a successful submission removes the relevant draft or you clear the site’s browser data. Clearing browser data does not delete information already submitted to our servers.
The application does not currently load advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts. Stripe’s hosted checkout may use its own cookies and technologies for payments and fraud prevention; see Stripe’s cookie policy. If we introduce optional tracking that requires consent, we will provide the relevant information and choice before activating it.
7. How long we keep information
Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether your account or a recruitment process is active, requests you make, and any legal requirements. A listing expiring or a profile becoming private stops its public display; it does not automatically delete the underlying records.
- Account and saved profile information is retained while needed to provide your account and requested services, unless a valid deletion request or another reason to remove it applies.
- Job and application records are retained while needed for the listing, employer inbox, support, and relevant disputes. An employer’s separate copies are governed by its own retention practices.
- Orders, invoices, refunds, and related records may be retained after an account closes for applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements.
- Technical logs, email delivery records, and backups follow the relevant service configuration and provider retention arrangements. Deletion from active systems may take additional time to reach backups.
You can request deletion or ask about the retention of a particular record using the contact details above. We will explain any information we must retain and the reason.
8. International processing
Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed in countries outside your own. The relevant locations depend on the service and its configured hosting region. A provider’s privacy notice explains its international operations.
Where transfer restrictions apply, transfers must use a permitted mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can use the contact details above to ask about the safeguards applicable to your information or request a copy where available.
9. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile and change its public visibility from your talent profile. Employers can close a listing from their dashboard.
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your information; restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. These rights can have legal exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
To make a request, use the contact details in section 1. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. We respond within the period required by applicable law; where the GDPR applies, this is generally one month, with any permitted extension explained to you.
You may complain to the data protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. EEA authority contacts are available from the European Data Protection Board. UK users can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not need to contact us before exercising that right.
10. Security and age
We use account verification, access controls, and database permissions to limit access to personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep sign-in links private, use a secure email account, and avoid leaving drafts or signed-in sessions on shared devices.
gtmforhire is intended for adults using it for professional recruitment and work opportunities. It is not intended for people under 18. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted so we can investigate and address it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required and seek consent where a new use requires it.
For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, and concerns about public information, use the operator’s contact details in section 1. Our Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using the service.
